Introduction👈 

We needs to choose 2 design principles from 9 principles to create : 

 

1. Gestalt theory

2. Contrast

3. Emphasis

4. Balance

5. Repetition

6. Movement

7. Harmony & Unity

8. Symbol

9. Word and Image 

So when i started my work , I saw EMPHASIS and MOVEMENT at first sight. I'm interested in these words because there are unusual from my past design works. So i decide to challenge them.

1 . emphasis

In my opinion, the Emphasis means the first thing you see, the most prominent thing in a design.

It can shows off difference in other things.

ref---Emphasis can be created by size, weight, position, color, shape, and style. Sometimes referred to as dominance, emphasis might seem similar to contrast, but it’s not quite the same. Contrast deals with the difference between two objects, and emphasis deals with the impact of an object.

   Adding emphasis to an object creates a focal point, which grabs an audience’s attention. It’s where you want the viewer to look first,but doesn’t overpower the rest of the design

So this picture we can see the difference from Contrast and Ehmphasis.

Because we can see this design use withe as the main color and we dont see some contrast should be done. WE can only see the woman stand in the picture and we can see her at the first sight.  So that's how emphasis work.

2 . movement

       Me :  

 The word MOVEMENT has MOVE in it which means it will be dynamically shows in the design .

        REF--Movement is the principle of design used to give artists the ability to lead a viewer’s eyes around an art piece. For instance, artists will create pathways within their artwork so that a viewer will automatically look at a piece in a certain direction. Movement is also used to show physical action on a still image, such as showing an action scene, a character running away, dancing, or fighting another character. But movement is used in more than just pathways and punches

As you can see , the girl with lots of bubbles so it looks like dancing on the sky , it's easily to understand "wow , its use in Mvoement way " !

---First-Emphasis

Now it's my designing time :

 When i start to thinking my design work , i definitely knew i need to express my work in a prominent way to show the " EMPHASIS " .

 SO I draw a child on the road and holding a ball . 

I NEED THE CHILD TO BE THE CENTRE OF THE DESIGN . SO I DID IT.

then i started sketching. . .

And now that's it . 

I use black to be the background and use withe to make sure the child can be the centre of the design . 

When i stared to paint the child on the road and holding a ball , i put my emotions into it ------I was so worried about to go abroad be alone , so the road means " GO abroad " . 

I always thought i'm a losing child on the road , because of my unconfident . So the child is holding the bright ball shows that i'm an insecure person , so i will cling to the only light.

The bright ball means my mom , and 'Ziska' who is my most important person in my life that give me supporting . I'm so glad and thankful .

And yes ,  that's how this design came out . 

              

           

          ---Second-Movement

Now is about my " Movement " work .

I think it should be move in "movement" , and i wants to show the " happy " in my design . 

THen i thought dancing is the best way for me to show happy and move! So i decided to darw some lines to make sure it looks moving and let she looks is excited in dance.

I don't really know what kind of dance i created , but it's just my style!😄

     Now it's finally done！

     I chose bright colors for the general design to make sure it         looks happy . So when the line moves around , it looks her dress is flying ! I chose red to create her legs and shoulders to let everyone can clearly understand what i'm painting .
