WEEK 1-LECTURE 1

This is the first class with Illustration & visual narrative. First in class,Mr.Hafiz briefed us about the modules in this semester and introduced how to use some tools in AI. It's quiet difficult for me.But after my exploration, I have acquired some tool skills.

And then Mr.Hafiz showed some of design of using shape to create a design That looks very interesting!

-Class exercise

After the game , we need to start an work about to use Pen tool to finish. We been gave of 8 shapes , and we should use pen tool to make it .

So i started to doing the work after class, i using Pen tool over and over again, finally!!!

WEEK 2-LECTURE 2

In week 2, before the class begining, Mr. Hafiz let us watching a video for VOMATOR CHARACTER DESIGN BASICS which introduce how to create a charactor and what points we should noted. That let me learned a lot ! And it's interesting because i have watched all of the characters on it .

1.Stylized Design

There are 3 points about stylized design :

ICONIC
SIMPLICITY
UNIQUE

2.Principles of character design

SHAPES
COLOUR
EMPHASIS
CONTRAST
HARMONY
EXPRESSIONS,POSES

That inspired me, because every time i wanna to start to create a character, i usually don't know how to start.

WEEK 3-LECTURE 3

Project 1 - Exercises 1

-Exercise 1 vormator character

This week we are not have class but still have to finish the final work, about the vormator character design. 25.04.2023

First, i took the shape down

I have to choose what shape i want to create. well i already have a sketch of the character that i want to design.

WEEK 4-LECTURE 4

Project 1 - Exercises 2

-Exercise 2 Illustrated typography

In this week,Miss Anis teaching the class for us.

Teacher allowed us to using words generated from the Pictionary Generator, and this is my words :

Then i want to combine this two words together, and that's the sketch.

And i create it with 3D and line to combine the words together make it more "story". So that's the layout.

WEEK 5-LECTURE 5

In this week, we are allowed to finish the text of exercise and need to give the sketch of TIGER.

WEEK 6 - WEEK 9

We keeping doing the My TIger and i worte a presentation with it.

And in week 9 we allowed to doing the Digital triptych which with the story.

After i looked it up, i chose LIFE ON LAND.

One it’s because i love all the animals on the earth but mostly i love the land animals. The second it’s because I love the nurture, so of course include the animals and plants so that’s the LIFE on the land.
