• Week 6 - Lecture 6 (09.05.2023)

In this class, Mr.vinod gave me feedback of my Task 2 work and i have some problems on my work . I need to change something about my headline and body text.

• Week 7 - Lecture 7 (16.05.2023)

In this class, Mr.vinod teach me how to doing the Task 2 with the headline. And he let us doing the Task 3 .

                                                                                                                                                                      

INSTRUCTIONS

TASK 2:  Type Exploration & Communication

With this task,we are allowed to provied 2 pages editorial spread (200 mm x 200 mm).  And we have to choose one from the three text options provided as the content.We also need to watch the video of Task 2.

I choose 3.

• Headlines:

We need to use Adobe Illustrator to create headline expressions.

We only need minor graphical elements.

• Layout:

We must use Adobe InDesign to compelet final.

Don't to use any images.

• Visual References

Because of the choose of 3. So i think UNITE it's the important word from the text. For the headline, i decied to search the Unite to make it the hole point from the headline.

• This image looks good that Unite hold everything , it realize me. So i create a sketch.

So Mr. vinod said i should change the U words because i can't distorted the word so i turn the UNITE on the top and full the bottom make it look better.

Feedback

Week 6 General feedback: The headline and text are wrong.

Specific Feedback: The headline its confuesed to read ,it's distorted. The execution is not happening.The line length is different.The column interval have problem also the bottom.

Week 7 General Feedback: I just need to change some font. Specific feedack: Change the Headline and it's ok.

                                                                         

Reflection

Experience

In these weeks, I have learned more knowledge about typography and how to make fonts in addition to elements, and keep the same Angle and position to create fonts.

Observation

During my exploration and the teaching of Mr.Vinod and his on-the-spot teaching of typeface rendering, I saw many different forms of typeface. It was amazing.

Findings

I have a better understanding of fonts, more in-depth know how to make fonts.
