Final Task 3 Type Exploration and Application
LECTURES
- Week 9 - Lecture 9 (25.10.2023)
At week 9 class, Mr.vinods check the proposal and let me doing 3 letters from my ideas. At first i decided to put color on hands and print my palm lines on paper, but i think that will be more difficult, so i decide to take 3 picture for my right hand palm lines with same angle and then put the picture on AI, it will be easy for me but not easy to draw the lines out to fonts.
- Week 10 - Lecture 10 (01.11.2023)
At week 10 class, Mr.vinods gave me feedback and let me changed the inch for the fonts. 27 letters with uppercase,lowercase and number , punctuations.
- Week 11 - Lecture 11 (08.11.2023)
At week 11 class, Mr.vinods let me redo my work and taught us the deadline and submission for final work.
- Week 12 - Lecture 12 (15.11.2023)
At week 12 class, Mr.vinods need us to complete the font and number on FontLab and need us keep doing.
- Week 13 - Lecture 13 (22.11.2023)
At week 13 class, Mr.vinods need me keep finish the Task 3 .

Problem:
I found that the design of many barbershops is not fresh, all according to the soft hair design, there is no intention, it is not fashionable.
Solution:
I think I can have more novel hairstyles or make different designs according to my own style.

Problem:
The design of many florists is also very similar, will add some flower elements, or the color is too bright, I think it is not very attractive, there is no high-level sense.
Solution:
I think can add flower elements, but not too cumbersome, to be simple and generous.

But i want to choose what i want, so i decide other 3 ideas which are:
- 1. Wrinkles in clothes
- 2. Wrinkles in people face
- 3. Body parts like：palm lines
Then i chose Body parts - my right hand palm lines.
So first i created letter H .

Week 10 01.11.2023
At week 10 class, Mr.vinods gave me feedback and let me changed the inch for the fonts. 27 letters with uppercase,lowercase and number , punctuations. So that's it

At week 11 class, Mr.vindos let me redo my homework and he thought i didn't understand the fonts. So he gave me a fonts referance and let me redo it step by step.

Then this is the trying for new font design. Well, yes i think i didn't understand the font , i just thought new idea but sometimes it doesn't work or it's too diffcult for me.

And then as he asked, I went to adjust side bearings for all letters & punctuations using the provided chart. After checking the chart, I found the problem with my font, so I changed the font.
Then i should complete the font on FontLab.
Then i download it on my computer.

FEEDBACK
Week 9
General feedback: Do 3 letters with idea.
Specific feedback: Should create letter first then put the elements on it.
Week 10
General feedback: Change the font size, inch.
Specific feedback: 2 turn to 8 inch, and then make
lowercase half of upper case.
Week 11
General Feedback: No improve.
Specific feedback: Redo it and get referance from other
fonts.
Week 12
General Feedback: Keep going.
Specific feedback: Complete the number.
WeeK 13
General feedback: Keep going with the font presentation
and application.
Specific feedback: The design should improve.
REFELCTION
Experience
Through Task 3, I fully learned how to create a font and display it.
Observation
I have observed that every size and presentation of the font is not completely uniform.
Findings
I found slight differences between uppercase and lowercase letters, and between letters and letters, but it was very regular, and I found a lot of problems when I downloaded it to the computer. Making fonts is not an easy task.
