Project 1 -Instructable Infographics Poster

Requirement:

• An infographic poster for ONE recipe selected from Pasta Grannies.

• Study one video, break down, and chunk the preparation and cooking process into an instructable poster. Try to capture each Grandma’s personality and unique dish identity in your poster as part of the narrative structure.

• Poster size: 1240 × 1750 pixels or 2048 × 2048 pixels

So , first, i watched the video and drawing a sketch for the step.

Sketch of step

Ingredients:

• 10 eggs
• Sage
• A mixture of wholemeal & similar
• Truffle
• Salt
• Sage
• Butter
• Water

Step：

1. Mix ten eggs and flour and knead into a dough.
2. After letting the dough rest for a few minutes, cut it into pieces and put it in a machine to flatten it repeatedly until it is as thin as possible.
3. Put the thin dough into the machine and make them become fine noodles and spread them out to prevent them from sticking together.
4. Add salt and water to a pot and put the noodles in.
5. In another pot, add butter and sage and cook together.
6. Remove the pasta to a plate, mix the butter soup into the pasta, and mix the truffle slices with the pasta.

Then i started to drawing a sketch.

So follow the sketch, i drawing on AI which is using computer.

And this is the final, i put it together.

But sir let me re-do my work, he think i can doing better, so i started to re-do it.

As you can see, I drawing the assets with the AI first.

Project 2-Animation Infographics

Requirement:

Use the assets from Project 1 Instructable Infographic poster into a 60-second motion graphic. Once again, capture the aesthetics and narrative of the poster with movements, SFX, and music.

Notes:

So i started use AE to doing the animation. First i put Ai files into Ae, then i put them one by one.

Refelection

For the first time, I learned about the dismantling of steps and the importance of finding visual references. This course was very interesting and more inspiring. I am more proficient in using AI to draw pictures than in the last school year, and this time after passing Project 1 After redrawing, I feel that my AI drawing skills have improved a lot, and my aesthetics have also improved.
