Instructions
Task 1: Dissertation draft
First of all, in the previous week, the instructor explained to us the outline and the projects we need to complete in this semester, including dissertation draft, final dissertation, book design and the final paper publication. All our tasks are based on the data collected in the design research last semester and the materials we made ourselves. This is a big task, so it takes us a semester to complete it one by one. So we started our dissertation.
We followed the schedule and steps arranged by the instructor step by step, from the preliminary typesetting to our dissertation draft. You can see my weekly tasks from the feedback I put at the back.

For Task 2, I revised the final dissertation based on the teacher's feedback and the draft, and finally presented the final dissertation.

In the design of the book, I chose a very complex color scheme at the beginning, but my instructor told me not to use so many colors, otherwise it would look messy. I should find a main color and then make the color matching simpler. So I found this color #2c3d4e as my main color, which is more in line with the calm tone of design and publication and the preferences of the public.
Then I did the layout, the title and subtitles were all my own ideas.
I then typeset each section according to the content of the final dissertation and attached some illustrations I found on Pinterest. The last two pages were given a book texture effect, which I wanted to make the look more realistic and beautiful.

Weekly feedback
FINAL REFLECTION
In this semester, the basis of all my tasks is in the data investigated and researched in the previous semester. And the tasks of this semester are actually more numerous and complex and need to follow the tutor's step-by-step steps to complete. I am very grateful to tutor Jin Chi for his guidance and weekly feedback and progress follow-up, which allowed me to master each step of the thesis step by step. I am also very grateful to the tutor for his advice and guidance, which improved my content and allowed me to learn a lot of knowledge. Before I came into contact with the thesis course, I was actually quite worried and nervous, because I felt that this was a complex and rigorous task that required a lot of data collection and summary, and I was always worried that I would not be able to do it. However, in the study and design of this semester, I finally overcame my fear and completed the corresponding tasks. I want to give myself a thumbs up. As long as you face any difficulties, you will not fail. Thank you for the encouragement of the tutor. Even if the progress is not very complete or satisfactory sometimes, there is still an opportunity for me to modify and correct it, and find my own mistakes in time. Overall, this semester is still very fulfilling, and I have learned some skills and knowledge in the thesis.
Then, in terms of collection and investigation, I still have some shortcomings. Because my scope is limited, the data on the number of people I collected is not particularly complete. In the final summary, I combined the data I collected for reference in the thesis and integrated my own questionnaire data to make a summary, but I am also very glad that my final summary is related to my initial assumptions and the conclusions are similar. Since I started this project, I have been completing this thesis based on my major. In fact, the pressure and task were quite high, but fortunately, everything went smoothly.
